One positioning, four workstreams, six days. This is the campaign side of M&A East: what we publish, what we boost, what we run paid, and who gets a direct approach. The attendee research and account analysis live separately.
The problem statement is platform agnostic and deliberately broader than a CRM or marketing conversation. HubSpot is one possible answer, not the frame, and it is not named in any prospect-facing asset for this event.
A larger digital fragmentation problem is interesting to more buyers than a CRM problem. Our own probe found more platform fragmentation than CRM fragmentation across the target accounts.
Across the 16 M&A Target companies attending, every attendee is corporate development or a CEO. Not one is a CIO, CTO or marketing leader. They do not own the CRM. They do own what an acquired company runs on.
Each has its own page. Status is honest: drafted means written and awaiting review, not shipped.
An operator POV and a deal-side POV, both readable here in full, plus eight diagrams. All new, none retrofitted from the HubSpot-led set.
Open →Three posts with full copy: the insight post, the invitation and the post-event synthesis. Two of them get paid boost.
Open →Three audiences, four campaigns, ad copy in the fragmentation frame. One constraint has to be solved today or the ads miss the event.
Open →Eighteen individuals across twelve must-meet accounts. Six are speaking, which turns a cold approach into a session meeting.
Open →The only genuinely immovable item is the first one.
Upload the padded company list to LinkedIn. Matching takes 24-48h, so this is the hard deadline for pre-event ads
Publish the POV piece. Post 1 goes out on Sachin's handle and gets boosted
Ad copy live on the padded audience. Emails to the six speakers
Remaining twelve emails. Post 2, the invitation
Confirm bookings. Print the 2-pager
Philadelphia. Six must-meets in three sessions on the 21st
Post 3, the synthesis. Best material of the three and the one most people skip
Retargeting carries 55% of the spend. This is where the money works
The existing buyer guide is HubSpot-led and still carries the private equity framing that was due to be removed. It cannot be the asset behind ads that deliberately do not mention HubSpot. Either the new 2-pager becomes the asset, or we run without a gated document.
Two pieces exist. The operator POV has the depth, the deal-side POV fits the people actually attending. They share diagrams and should not go out in the same week.
Both POV pieces are written for Sachin's name. Under Axelerant's they need two line changes and lose some of the first-person weight.
Platform agnostic applies to prospect-facing assets for this event. The HubSpot partnership and the Gold credential are unaffected. Worth being explicit so nobody starts hiding the practice.
